'Heir and Spare' ~ Develop an NPC who aids and accompanies the party. Perhaps a bodyguard or manservant. If a PC is put out of the running this proves a handy spare for a player to run on the spot and could be taken up permenantly on player death/ permenant incapacitation etc. ( Linked 'reserve' characters are very useful for CofC.)

Wise words mate.

Been looking for a usable map of Victorian Hull for my game this year, and was nudged towards this site. Bloody wonderful bunch of maps, and just because I didn't find one with the resolution I was looking for didn't spoil the time I spent flicking through them.
Just so you know, I own a comic book store

Oh, and write a fiction blog for fun

This thread hasn't seen much action recently, so I thought I'd take advantage of it to offer some advice to players who already have an absolutely amazing concept for a character for next season's games. Don't get too attached to it, a whole lot of things can get in the way of creating the character exactly as you imagine it.

On the back of that I'd say when you do finish your char gen

Love the character you have. Explor it's merits and flaws, all of them are an oppertunity to role play - even if that just happens in your own head
