See, there's this thing called 'Aggro'. It's a very complicated, very technical roleplaying expression. Loosely translated, it means 'The Priest Dies'.

A heart felt rest in piece from me.
I remember the cold, shallow, friendless, cynical world of espionage in Callum .
Also Breaker Morant is an excellent and intelligent war film that looks at Imperialism, Patriotism, the military and political expedience.
The Wickerman is still priceless. True horror, not sugar coated Hollywood razzmatazz.
Of interest and sympathy for thise of us in HUGS, Woodward once collected wargaming armies and also fronted the BattlegroundT V series in the seventies which looked at military conflicts and used wargames tables and painted miniatures. This interest bled over into the Callum film where the two adversaries  fought two wargames during a period where thety were sounding out each other.

QFT.

Callum was superb, truly, as was Breaker Morant "Make sure you shoot straight you bastards". Awesome,

One less Dam Buster.

Never mind Dam Buster, but a genuine, 100% stone cold hero of the Normandy Invasions, being a juinor officer in the Paratroopers that seized Pegasus Bridge in the most flawlessly executed coup de main you could hope for.

RIP Dino De Laurentis
"Between the time when the oceans drank Atlantis, and the rise of the sons of Aryas, there was an age undreamed of. And onto this, Conan, destined to wear the jeweled crown of Aquilonia upon a troubled brow. It is I, his chronicler, who alone can tell thee of his saga. Let me tell you of the days of high adventure!"
This is why magic is worse even than quantum physics. Because, while both spit in the eye of common sense, I've never yet had a Higgs bosun turn up and try to have a conversation with me.
