Seems more sensible than having a seperate thread everytime someone who we will actually miss passes away. I know when a big one goes, Like Gary, there are lots of things people want to say, but sometimes I just feel the need to draw a death to everyones attention, just so they know.

With that in mind, Bettie Page, you will be missed.

Depending how old you are he was Vision On or Morph's Artist friend, but Tony Hart has died aged 83.

This is why magic is worse even than quantum physics. Because, while both spit in the eye of common sense, I've never yet had a Higgs bosun turn up and try to have a conversation with me.

Hartbeat.  Now that brings back some long lost memories.
Damn shame, that.
I can still tend the rabbits, George?

One year, one month and three days after the passing of Gary Gygax, Dave Arneson follows suit.

After playing Ad&D 2nd ed last night, with a sturdy dwarven fighter called Arneson I am glad I could pay one last homage to someone who shaped my life.

RIP Dave.

Can't decide whether GMing for those two would have been the best or worst thing in the world. Damn shame to have lost them both, but I can't help but wish I could have seen as much feeling from the wider gaming community as we saw when when Gary passed. At least one webcomic did their best.
