With an air of melancholy

"I have to Magnus, I don't have a choice, these people took everything from me, the pain just won't go unless I hurt them. And Violet... well we've been together since the womb, and she has reasons on this one too, wouldn't be appropriate for me to speak for her"

I see.

Picks up their book to start reading again and sips their tea.

Have you done anything in these last two weeks? Anything to benefit the revolution?

"Making illegal pharmaceuticals, selling illegal pharmaceuticals, not like I knew anyone even was still willing to talk, I sent a note that day to meet that night in the George and heard no response"

Smirks

Well I was out for about 4 days the nurses said. So I couldn't come even if I wanted to. I'm glad no one came. It would have been unwise for us to meet after what had happened with Mouse.

Turns a page in their book.

What brings you back to the George now? Surely you haven't been strolling in each day in hopes to find whoever was left of our little group?

Putting her book down and taking a drink of her Gin

"Mouse choose his worlds poorly in an already tense situation, we all have a past, we don't deserve to have it thrown at us, especially from someone as uniformed as he was.

Mumbling slightly

"And not every day but I hoped..."

We both have pasts we don't want to talk about. I was forced to relive mine far too many times.

They wince from the pain in their head.

Made me remember who I was.  An unnerving smile spreads across her face.

Again they wince from the pain. The smile vanishes.

However, we must carry on Rose. All we can do is learn from our past and prey we do not make the same mistakes again. I hope that we can call each other friends one day Rose, even with all that has happened.

Smiling in a manner that is possibly slightly forced

"Perhaps Magnus. Sometimes it isn't easy having only Violet to trust"

She sighs

"Could you perhaps fill me in on the smedlinton case? I was never given a full overview"

Looking concerned.

Maybe not a discussion for here. I will fill you in as soon as I can. I believe Peter has the papers that we have gathered. Maybe when and if our shrinking group meets up again.

Turns another page in their book and continues to sip their tea.

Continues to try to read but something is bothering her, she keeps touching the burn mark on her face, almost a nervous pic, after a few minutes she looks up

"And of course if it's not rude to mention there is still the wake issue that needs solving?"

Their fist curls slightly then they relax before answering.

Before I say anything, what do you mean?

Gesturing wildly with her hands

"The drug is remarkable but we need to do things, understand what's in it and make sure we can get it off the streets, and I'm saying that as someone in the industry"

Sips her tea.

Well you can ask your questions straight to the supplier. Two of them are in here.

Turns another page in their book.

Eyes look around quickly and then they return to the book.

They don't appear to be in. Shame. But this is the only place I have heard of it. Richard was the first to get some, nearly gave it to the poor child October.

With slow movement they reach back and rub their head.

Confused

"You found him forcing it down the child's throat?"
