Lydra's Table
« on: February 16, 2017, 09:58:52 PM »
In the midst of the river, there's Tangletown. At the heart of Tangletown is the Leaky Bucket tavern - meeting place and neutral territory for all the gangs of Crows Foot. In the best (i.e. waterproof) and warmest corner of the Bucket sits Lydra, at an prestigiously old, old writing desk. Here, she holds court and makes deals, brokers bargains, and drinks copious amounts of gin.

Everyone knows Lydra. You got a score to sell, an artefact to fence, a plan that needs a rogue? Lydra's who you go to.

Lydra Vane, Deal broker

Quote
This is where I will post various deals and offers to the gang that represent potential scores.

Daaaarlings, I have so many delicious deals for you!

Word on a Delicate Deal: Lydra has an interesting opportunity, just for you Drop Outs. Could be profitable, but there are complications. Best to meet at the Leaky Bucket to discuss. Goldie and the Fog Hounds are happy with their cut of the first Lampblack cache. The next one is.... in old Lampblack Turf, if you're interested?

Ironhook Favours: Lydra's got word of a man called Mister Chalk, who's offering a bargain price pay off to prison guards in Ironhook - handy if you have got someone inside, to keep them safe or get the out earlier.

Another Little Favour: 'Natasha Nogoodnik' (a clear alias) reminds you that you promised the Red Beggars a favour., in exchange for the destruction of the Gas Works. But first you'll need to prove yourselves to them. If only there were other dissidents who could vouch for you...? Ooops.

Power to the People: Anya the dilettante reminds you (Hugo) that you agreed to do a small favour for her and her dissident friends. Meet in Charhollow, at the Mother Huff Cap alehouse. Well, this ones off the cards now, thanks to Flint's "charm" and the city's dissident crackdown.

A Lord's Command: You have given Lord Scurlock the spirit-bottle containing Dr. Hong's soul. He has offered you the chance to serve him by returning the 'wayward' demon Seterra to his tender care. One does not say "no" to Lord Scurlock darlings - and one does not keep him waiting!

A Simple Job: You have met with an old man named Pale. He wants a couple of local scoundrels 'dealt with' in exchange for shoring up your supply problems, or getting you access to the kind of client your superior product deserves. Sounds easy.

Lampblack Caches: Well, darlings, with Alice and the Snuffers gone, I suppose these delicious little tasties are up for the taking.... unless Adric Smiles and his new Crow friends want a bite of the pie? Anyway, Goldie tells me that one cache is at the Dimmer Sisters mansion in Six Towers (a chest full of Baszo's occult memorabilia perhaps?) and that another is hidden somewhere in the Mermaid Bathhouse, now in Red Sash territory....

Interested? I know other shall we say, interested parties, are also looking, so the chance might not be around forever...

Daaaarlings, it seems that dear Mister Pale and Mister Chalk have unexpectedly left the district. What could be the matter?

Dead Man's Request:
Well, this is interesting.... it seems that the former [deceased] leader of the Crows is in the market for a few good men. Word is, he needs 'help' with the Spirit Wardens or Gondoliers. Something about 'recruitment' for his new Crew, the Sons of Roric.

He's a scary man.

Prayers for a Dead Man

Well, this is interesting my sweets. Some, lets say, most discreet friends of mine would like a peaceful meeting with the Sons of Roric - well, their leader mostly. A... supernatural powwow, so to speak. Interested?
