...The next morning...

The little bar is all but deserted, just a couple of drunks who've managed to find enough coin for breakfast beer propping up the bar grumbling with the Landlord about their woes.

For his part, Edes the one-eyed owner keeps his thoughts mostly to himself, grunting occasionally when it seems required and filling up mugs as long as coin remains forthcoming.

At the end of the bar furthest from the front entrance, the scruffy little door that leads into the private bar room behind remains stands an inch or so ajar, revealing to any curious enough to peek through, that it to is deserted..

<Walks in with his usual smile and heads straight over the barman> Edes, a pint of your finest if you would be so kind?

I am expecting a visitor or two. If anyone comes looking for me, point them towards the back room.

There are times when a blind hope is better than none at all. How much do I owe you?

The 'Bruc are taking care of him for now. And when I say that, I actually mean that I'm putting a roof over his head and buying him some food. But until he picks up some more Pyraxian, there's not many other options open to him. I may have another joining him soon, but we'll see.

Thank you again for this, and for the work you're doing on the bawdy house.

Stalland

<perhaps a quarter turning later Stalland walks in, a thoughtful look on his face, he grives a nod towards Edes and walks over to the bar> Is Lucius about?

<he looks round towards the half open door into the back room >

Aye, the carpenter is happy for the help, and the young lad knows a bit about woodwork as it is.

Speaking of woodwork, I have a little something for you. My man did his best, but with the time frame offers no guarantees. I hope this does the trick though.
