Bobby, are you bringing many copies down the following Wednesday, for those of us not off to Boozecon '08?

Y'know that one guy in Guitar hero, Izzy Sparks?  I was the model for that, back in my late 90's hair metal phase.

On the off chance that anyone isn't aware, the main munchkin artist does a webcomic:
Also, Shorty, I owe you one for bringing mystery science theatre back into my life.  And mythbusters.  And reboot.

I guess I don't... NEED to get a degree.

If they do, remember your training and loot them.
According to the BBC:
"Temperatures will be below average with the risk of overnight frosts. Bands of rain will cross the country at times with the risk of further snow. The driest and brightest weather is expected to be in the southwest."

Good luck, ladies and gentlemen.  I shall be hiding in my bedroom until the glowing yellow orb returns.

Yes.  Yes, by wearing white, I have manifest as the second coming of Christ.
You might want to consider rerolling any crits you get against my character in any game of yours I ever attend.

We had a good day.  After training and our duties, I decided to try to mend Thorfinn's helmet.  The actual mending proved difficult, it was damaged quite badly and probably was not a stranger to battle before he had received it, but I did the best I could.  I then tried something I had been taught in our temple, some technique involving hammering runes into armour or something.  I do not understand it fully, all I know is I placed the shape I had been shown in the temple onto the helmet and hammered it a few times.  Thorfinn seems pleased with it, and it resisted the hammer blows very well, it was quite a challenge to finish securing the rune in the end.  A good job, I feel, but it gave me a rather bad headache.  Improving my own was more of a challenge, it seems that lamellar is a lot more resistant to this treatment.  I will have to continue relying on my magic, it seems.
Yesterday's work and training were quite exhausting, so we were thankful to return to bed in the evening.  I wish I had never bothered.
It started with a really strange nightmare.  A huge flock of human heads, looking right at me.  They flew directly into my head, I don't know what they wanted, but I wanted to know what they were doing.  They did not look friendly.
The rest of what happened is... difficult to describe.  I think I dreamed of going inside my own head, following them into a great hall full of side chambers.  The swarm fled down the hall, they seemed afraid of something but I suppose cowardice is natural when you have no arms to fight with.  One of them split off from the rest and I followed it.  We ended up in a room full of... images.  An endless, impossible room containing every scene from our past travels, it was impossible to make any sense of it all, there was just too much to take in.  I tried not to linger on the day we crossed the river or our last major fight.  The lone head was frantically searching the room, so I decided to ask what it was doing.  For a disembodied head it spat well, right into my eyes.  We fought for what felt like days, dodging and dealing blows, but the endless moving scenes around us made it very difficult to concentrate on the fight, especially as many of them contained their own fights.
Just as I began to feel completely spent, I heard something, something at the very edge of hearing, some great battle cry from the heavens.  This battle could not end with both of us still standing, it had to be to the death.  I was not about to let some creature invade my head, I would rather some of my memories not be made public.
I eventually struck it down.  Even dream monsters cannot stand against a good beating.  I stepped outside the room to see its companions fleeing, so I followed as far as I dared, eventually appearing above a mountain.  I do not know why I was not falling.  The heads returned to a man running for his life by the looks of it, some cleric or monk if I am any judge.  I did not want to call the attention of any man capable of throwing around disembodied heads, nor did I want to see if they would try to go into his head, so I went back... well, home, I suppose.
There is little more to do than wait until I wake up.  I have some time to kill, I might as well try to find the memory room again, see if I can find the first night of our adventure, with the pig and the serving girl.  Those were better days.  Things did not try to kill us quite as often.

I wear a lot of white, now.  Probably the easiest way to recognise me.
